Transformed Racing, Inc.Member Profile
Transformed Racing, Inc was established to support Bicycle Motocross (BMX) athletes do what they do best - race! We are a grass-roots team and our goal is to take the financial stress away from the athletes and let them have fun! BMX has been around for decades and it is one of the newest sports added to the 2008 Olympics in Beijing, China. Getting started is how Mutual 1st Federal came into play. We knew we needed an EIN number and also to be incorporated. Where does someone start? I was referred to Tony Mundt at Mutual 1st Federal. Tony was a one-stop shop! He let me know all of the steps needed to get started. It has been a great experience with Mutual 1st Federal and I would recommend them to any business owner.
Our team competes on a national level through the American Bicycle Association (ABA). The ABA has 60,000 plus members and hosts multiple races throughout the country.
Transformed Racing has been very competitive in our first year. Currently we sponsor nine athletes: Shelby Fuller (Lincoln, NE), Toni Rude (Springfield, MO), Shawn Otterson (Omaha, NE), Richie Wallace (Lincoln, NE), Adam Donner (Lincoln, NE), Brandon Brown (St. Cloud, MN), Joe McCarty (Tulsa, OK), Joel Reinoehl (Las Vegas, NV) and Ashley Hager (Tulsa, OK).
Shelby Fuller-Larson, 9-years-old, is currently ranked 3rd in the National Age Group (NAG). Her whole family is involved in BMX and she continues to be one of our star performers!
Toni Rude, 19, is our Girl-Pro rider. She had an opportunity to be on the Olympic team until she broke her ankle in March. Toni is ranked 12th in the Women Pro standings which is very good, considering she hasn’t raced since her injury.
Shawn Otterson, 23, is one of the best athletes to watch on the track! He is in his second year of racing BMX, however, he been on a bike since he was 12. Shawn will amaze any crowd with his speed and ability to take any jump. He ranks 8th NAG in Cruiser class.
Adam Donner, 26, owns his own construction company in Lincoln. He keeps himself in great shape and is always very competitive. Adam ranks 5th NAG in Cruiser class.
Joel Reinoehl, 38, is one big guy to watch! His nickname is ‘The Animal’ and the name really sticks when you meet him. Joel races both 20-inch and Cruiser bicycles and has a chance to be #1 in both of them this year. He ranks 2nd NAG for 20-inch and 5th NAG Cruiser.
One of the greatest rewards starting a sports team of mixed ages is seeing the encouragement everyone gives one another. BMX is an individual sport, however, we stick together. We have received multiple compliments from other parents, as well as inquiries to join our team. The size of the team depends on the support we receive from individual donors and our sponsors. We are excited to start our race as a sporting team and have Mutual First take care of the banking side!
Please check out our website and see how you can support our new team!
