Transformed Family Dinner at Cheddars (Please excuse us - we are having a blast!)

The team became creative on getting together for this race! Brandon Brown drove to Omaha to meet up with Shawn Otterson and Brian Feregrino. We left Omaha at 6:00 PM and our next stop was in Lincoln to pick up Adam Donner. We then had a long adventure to Tulsa where Joe McCarty lives (Oh, we didn’t mention that we went the long way to Tulsa - this added close to two hours to our trip!). Long story short we arrived in Dallas around 10:00 AM Friday morning.  Our last stop before the track was to pick up Joel Reinoehl. He flew in from Las Vegas and arrived the night before and he also had some travel delays! He said he arrived at his hotel around 1:00 AM! The Metroplex BMX track looked great however the weather was something that no one was expecting! It was cold, windy and had a misty rain.  Dinner that night was at Cheddars. They had great food and a good price - we had a blast! See the photo above.Here are the stats for Friday’s Race:

Saturday:
Brought a little bit warmer weather an we only had a few riders racing. The team unfortunately added another rider to the injured reserve list. Toni Rude had a bad fall and broke her ankle. The good news is she should be on her bike in the next 8 weeks.

• 8th Place Adam “High Plains Drifter” Donner (25-29 Men)

Sunday:
The team did great! Everyone was looking really good on each race. Brandon Brown showed a lot of improvement and Joe McCarty looked great! Richie Wallace II was very fun to watch. He raced against the top riders in the ABA and held his own! The ride home highlight is deciding on what Brandon Brown’s nickname should be.
