Wow! This was a great race and the team had some fun! It was great hanging out with other Omaha/Lincoln BMXers! Chris Rowlette rode up with Brian, and Chris had quite an adventure that morning. Brian and Chris headed out of town right before the wind storm hit Omaha.

Directions were not a problem with Brian’s new GPS! Those things really come in handy however don’t trust them when your trying to find a restaurant! Saturday night we heading to Texas Roadhouse and the GPS missed the place by a whole block. It allowed Brian, Chris, and Joe to really get a chance to see the city… It was fun to watch Garret Pinneo ride the saddle and celebrate an early birthday!

On Saturday night the local town of Isanti had their own barbeque and band. The band played lots of 50’s and 60’s cover songs. They had a silent auction and lots of young folks wearing the 50’s type clothing. Brian got his dance on and gave Joel a good laugh.

The team did great as they finished 5th place on both Saturday and Sunday’s factory team standings.

Quick weekend notes:
Brandon - had his dad and sister out at the track.
Ashley - rode very well for being in a new class.
Joe - made his mains on Friday!
Joel - much happier on Sunday and had his wife Misty make the trip with him.
Shawn - looks better and better on 20″ and can’t wait to see his NAG points on Cru.
Adam - had a clean cut and smooth face. What happened to the drifter?
Shelby - has the #1 smile with the #1 trophy to go with it!
